“How to” related content
So… bummer. I haven’t been writing very much, which is not very good because you’re meant to be super consistent with this whole social media thing, and I haven’t.
What have I been doing? Well, I’ve been working on couple of Webflow projects with Mael Ruffini for Rhumb Studio — one for an influencer marketing agency and another for a SaaS company.
We’re collaborating with the mighty Concrete Club who are helping us with the brand identities.
Super excited to share more on those. But until then, other bits and bobettes.
Founder interviews
But today: exciting news.
So I’m going to be launching something I’m thinking of calling Founder Stories.
Essentially, I want to go to people who are actually doing interesting, real human stuff in the world — things that are making the world better.
I’ll ask a few questions, try to understand why they do what they do, why anyone should care, and then I’ll build them an interactive single-page website with some weird 3D stuff.
I’m hoping the first one will be with Gomi, who are basically a recycled-plastic-turned-useful-products company.
They melt down loads of plastic and make these incredible speakers, cables, lights, and other stuff. They’re in Brighton, so hopefully I’ll go there with my camera, interview them, and get a sense of what they do, why they do it, and why we should care.
How To Content
I think there’s clearly demand for that type of thing, so that’ll be more long-form content on YouTube. I’m also going to be doing more “how to make an interactive website” content, especially around making 3D stuff on the web. Hopefully that brings the web stuff to life a bit more.
Here’s the first of many more how to bits of content!
I’ll also be showing highlights from the two products I’m currently working on, although I can’t really share too much yet because I’m not really meant to.
So all in all: loads of content coming. I just need to actually do it.
This is all really just a general effort to highlight what humans are doing — and also to show, as a human, a little bit about what I’m doing too.
If there’s anything you want to learn about or see, or if you think any of this is useful at all, cheers. Comment below or in the little Substack thing.
Bye.
